1966 Schwinn Stingray Muscle Bike Coppertone Vintage Banana Seat

  
The bike is in original coppertone factory paint color. The bike has cool (non-Schwinn) wide apehanger handlebars with matching Schwinn hand grips.

The front wheel is a Schwinn stamped hub on a S7 rim with a new aftermarket tire. The back wheel is a red stripe Bendex hub and brake on a center stamped S2 rim with a new aftermarket slick tire. This fenderless classic has a stingray metal tagged replacement banana seat with great comfortable vinyl. The sissybar has new hardware, the seatpoast clamp has the "S" stamp. The replacement reflective pedals are slip resistant.

This Chicago made bike will make a great rider. The bike rides great and is in good mechanical working order.

All moving parts and bearings have been completely cleaned, reworked and tuned. Noted flaws: the bike has paint loss from time, falls, scrapes, and scratches. All paint and bare metal areas have been treated and smoothed out.

New water transfer decals applied and sealed with protective ultraviolet resistant clear coat. The chrome has loss from time, weather, and falls. The front fork has a slight twist/bend that has no affect on the riding performance of the bike.
