1966 SCHWINN FASTBACK STINGRAY 5-SPEED STIK SHIFT MUSCLE BIKE KRATE S5 VINTAGE! Here is a rare original AUGUST 1966 SCHWINN STINGRAY "FASTBACK" 20 BICYCLE! (HB Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind! This is one of the coolest bikes made by Schwinn! They look cool and are great riding bikes! The bike has the cool original COPPERTONE GOLD 5-speed Fastback frame with original paint, original chainguard, (has a fresh decal) wide apehanger handlebars, Schwinn hand grips, cool rear sissy bar, block style pedals, chrome fenders and so much more!

I dont know where you would find another like it! The bike is an original 5-speed STICK SHIFT with operable hand controlled brakes. (even has the overload tube in place) The bike shifts and brakes.

(will need fine tune adjustment) The seat is cool! It has the original STINGRAY tag on the rear and is in relatively nice condition for its age! (slightly untucking on the lower left side see pics) This one has Schwinn S5 Schwinn Fastback rims front and rear. The tires hold air and are cool!

Both tires are Schwinn tires and do hold air. (rear is not a slick) This one has the correct style 5-speed chainguard! I believe this bike to be mostly original parts from when it was new. (See pics and be your own expert) Add up the value of the parts! Best part, this is a complete original vintage bike!

I have this exact bike in my own personal collection. I have owned it for years. These are great looking, great riding bikes!

NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for a 45+ year old boys bike! The paint is original and has survived better than many. (has chips scratches etc but is better than most that you see) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) W heel chrome is not the best but I like keeping these bikes original.

I took lots of pics and have nothing to hide. Please look closely for exact condition. This is a cool bike in the RIGHT color! The Fastback bikes ride much nicer than the cool KRATE bikes! (they look awesome but these ride much better) I hope you enjoy this!

These do not come along often! Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before!
