1966 SCHWINN FASTBACK STINGRAY 5-SPEED STIK COPPERTONE MUSCLE BIKE KRATE VINTAGE. Here is a rare original MARCH 1966 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20 BICYCLE! (CB Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool!

The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind! The best color with the SPRINT SPROCKET makes for one of the most desirable Schwinn Fastback bikes out there! This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! The bike is in the original and very appealing RADIANT COPPERTONE GOLD factory painted color.

The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, 5-speed STICK SHIFTER with the "overload" tube in place, (has a fresh side decal) SPRINT SPROCKET, cool rear sissy bar, Schwinn BOW pedals, Schwinn derailleur, chrome kickstand (has a slight lean) and seat post clamp, and so much more! I dont know where you would find another like it! The bike is an original 5-speed STICK SHIFT with operable hand controlled brakes.

The bike shifts and brakes. (will need fine tune adjustment) Has a cool looking Schwinn seat! This one has Schwinn S5 rims front and rear. This one has 20x1 3/8 Schwann front tire front and a Schwann Fastback SLIK rear. Both are Schwinn tires and probably original for the bike!

The chain guard has original paint but a newer decal and the rear mount area looks fabricated. (see pics, not a huge deal but I like to be honest). This bike was recently removed from VERY long term storage.

In the late 1990s, I started collecting muscle bikes again! My very first local bike I found was a Coppertone Sprint 5-speed stick shift Fastback like this one! This one brought back some great memories!

If you enjoy RIDING your bikes, the Fastback bikes are arguably the best for riding! (much smoother than the cool looking krate series of bikes) Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it!

I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. NOTED FLAWS I got this one pretty much like you see it. It is not 100% flawless but is not bad considering it is a 45+ year old boys bike! The paint looks relatively ok for its age! (it has chips and scratches, decal wear, etc, see pics) I LOVE original paint!

The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. The front wheel has a wobble and should be trued. The black knob on the shifter looks faded.

(clean or replace) You will never see these Stick Shifter bikes produced again and finding one that has been in long term storage is a rare find these days! Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me.

People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike.

Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. Fed Ex just increased the rates.
