1965 SCHWINN STINGRAY SLIK CHIK COPPERTONE EARLY 2-SPEED MUSCLE BIKE S2 VINTAGE! Here is a rare original JANUARY 1965 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20 BICYCLE! (AA Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind! This bike is in very original condition.

In fact, as far as I can tell, nearly every single part of this bike is original. This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors.

Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! The bike is in the original and very appealing radiant COPPERTONE GOLD factory painted color. The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, rear sissy bar, cool "razor edge" fenders, and so much more!

I dont know where you would find another like it! You can read the chainguard lettering unlike most of them. The bike is an blue band 2-speed kickback with operable brakes.

The seat is original and not bad for its age. (see pics) It has the cool Stingray tag on the rear as well as the reflector mounting tab! It has the original chrome Schwinn double knurled center stamped S-2 rear rim and a chrome Schwinn S7 front rim.

(front has side dings) Both front and rear tires hold air. They are slightly newer replacement tires and do hold air. (probably the only non original parts on the bike, see pics and be your own judge) The front tire is a Schwinn. The rear is a new old stock non Schwinn rear slik! I LOVE these early Stingray bikes. I bought this for my daughter last year. She has too many bikes and decided to sell this one. (this was the last one of hers that I personally would like to see go but the choice was hers) This is one of the only bikes I have ever listed that I wont be unhappy if it does not sell! Many of these early bikes like this have been used for parts for boys bikes. (would be a shame to do so) Fun for your the girl in your life to enjoy riding with you or a great display! These are hard to find, especially in such a cool color! Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE!

Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge.

They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age!

The paint looks fairly good for a 45+ year old kids bike! (has chips scratches etc but has survived better than many) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) The kickback works but should be regreased internally.

(it takes a couple rotations for it to catch) A great display or fun bike for your wife, daughter, girlfriend or significant other to ride! Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before!

You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. Fed Ex just increased the rates. This is a 10+ day service and includes packing.
