1965 SCHWINN STINGRAY COPPERTONE MUSCLE BIKE BANANA SEAT VINTAGE S2 NOS SLIK. Here is a rare original 1965 SCHWINN DELUXE STINGRAY 20 BICYCLE! I believe made August 13th 1965. The serial number is HA39074 This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind! The early Schwinn Stingray bikes are the coolest and the hardest to find! The bike is in the original and very appealing RADIANT COPPERTONE factory painted color. The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, cool rear sissy bar and so much more! I dont know where you would find another like it! It has its original chainguard with a fresh decal.

(was a reverse screen) The bike is an original single speed with operable brakes. LOVE the Schwinn Stingray seat! Has the rear Stingray tag, reflector hanger, "AS" Arnold Schwinn seat post clamp and more!

It has Schwinn S-7 front rim and a double knurled Schwinn S-2 rear rim with a Bendix rear hub. Both front and rear tires are slightly newer replacement tires and do hold air. The rear is a new old stock SLIK tire! This one has factory chrome kickstand, seat post clamp, and fender braces.

These are details found only on the DELUXE model bikes of the time! It is a great rider! RIGHT NOW I have a family of Schwinn Stingray bikes in the rare COPPERTONE gold available right now!

They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them!

Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age!

The paint looks fairly good for a 50+ year old boys bike! (has chips etc but is better than most you see) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them.

Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike.

Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. Fed Ex just increased the rates.
