1964 SCHWINN DELUXE STINGRAY BOYS VIOLET/PURPLE MUSCLE BIKE VINTAGE S2 64 EARLY! Here is one of the COOLEST early Schwinn Stingray bikes I have seen in a while!

Here is a rare original AUGUST 1964 SCHWINN DELUXE STINGRAY 20 BICYCLE! (I believe made August 8th 1964 The Serial Number is H418814) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind! This bike is in very original condition. In fact, a good majority of the parts on this bike appear to be original.

This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! The bike is in the original and very appealing VIOLET/PURPLE factory painted color. The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, cool rear sissy bar, front and rear chrome fenders, chrome kickstand, and so much more! Has the cool original screen "reverse screen" chainguard.

The bike is an original single speed with operable brakes. The seat and sissy bar have obviously been replaced at some point. (has rips) It has the original chrome Schwinn double d S-2 rear rim with a Bendix hub and a chrome Schwinn S7 front rim. Both front and rear tires hold air. The front is a Schwinn tire and I believe is original for the bike. Rear is a slightly newer replacement 20x2.125 SLIK tire! (ok for display or replace for riding) I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome and is a REAL head turner that has not been through all the collectors! These bikes are arguably the most collectible Stingray bikes out there! They seem to consistently go UP in value! The VIOLET ones are especially tough to find. I have a seen a couple that were painted over black years ago!

They did not produce a lot in this color and most did not survive! The Schwinn Stingray was only a year old when this one came out! I hope you can appreciate this for what it is! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge.

They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok! The paint looks ok for a 50+ year old boys bike! LOVE the fact that it is original. Has obvious chips scratches wear etc The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality.

Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) I would guess the front fender has been replaced? NOT trying to nit pick this cool bike, just like to be honest. Be sure to view them all! They explain the condition better than I can!

Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike!

Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us.
