1962 SCHWINN TYPHOON 20 DOUBLE STRAIGHTBAR BIKE VINTAGE SKIPPER STINGRAY TORNADO. NOW THIS IS SUPER COOL! Here is a rare original August 1962 SCHWINN TYPHOON double straight bar 20 cruiser bike! I believe made August 10th 1962.

The Serial Number is H234727 This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!

This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! The bike is in the original and very appealing black factory painted color. The bike who has the super unique flowing style double straight bar frame!

I believe this design was only made for a year or 2 and is quite desirable among collectors. It has cruiser style handlebars, slightly newer glitter hand grips, Schwinn cruiser style seat, original chainguard, (has a fresh decal) and so much more!

I dont know where you would find another like it! It has white painted and pinstriped Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear with Schwinn tires front and rear and do hold air. The white color combination looks really cool on this! It is such a unique look and I think it looks really cool! I have seen bikes like this with a TANK and it REALLY looks cool! I had one like this years ago that was converted into a Stingray with a banana seat and apehanger handlebars!

It was one of the coolest bikes I have seen! 63 was technically the first year of the Stingray!

They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge.

I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. It would need a total resto from top to bottom for show or have fun with it in its current unrestored patina. I love the fact that it has original paint but the paint has chips scratches wear etc.

You dont have to feel bad about painting this one or enjoy it in its current unrestored patina. Some people LOVE this look The forks look to have been white and repainted or just chipped up? The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me.

People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before!

You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. They are all available right now!
