1962 SCHWINN DELUXE AMERICAN MENS TANK BICYCLE VINTAGE TYPHOON PANTHER JAGUAR S7. Here is an original 1962 VINTAGE I believe made AUGUST 24th 1962.

The serial number is H263378 men's Schwinn "Deluxe American" bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing BLACK colored factory paint. If you like UNIQUE unrestored original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This is a top of the line bike of the time!

I BELIEVE this bike to be nearly 100% original parts from when it was new! (please see pics and be your own judge). The bike has a cool cantalever style frame, chrome frame mounted slimline HORN TANK, (horn is untested) wide fenders, front carrier RACK, wide cruiser style handlebars, Schwinn hand grips, black Schwinn "S" seat, D eluxe rear carrier RACK, cool pedals, and much more! Check out the unique and cool original "reverse screen" chainguard! I LOVE these bikes and have one in my own personal collection for the past 10+ years!

The "American" bikes are cool as they were claimed by Schwinn to be "100% Made in USA" bikes! Go find a bike made like that today! The tires are 26x1 3/4.

They are slightly newer vintage WIDE WHITEWALL tires and do hold air. (they are a great look on this bike) The bike has chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear with a Bendix rear hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 1/2.

The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 2 7 3/4. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21 3/4. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably.

The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age. The paint looks ok for a 50+ year old bike!

(has some chips and scratches but looks respectable for its age) T he chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) The rear rim has side dents. This is a very cool bike and I hope you love it!

This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach.

Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike?
