1961 SCHWINN FLYING STAR VINTAGE TANK BICYCLE RACK+HEADLIGHT HOLLYWOOD BLUE S7! Here is an original 1961 VINTAGE I believe February 14th 1961. The serial number is B130077 ladies SCHWINN FLYING STAR beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels.

This lovely bike just celebrated its 60th birthday this pas Sunday on Valentines Day! You rarely see these in any condition. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has some super cool features you do not see often on vintage Schwinn bikes! This bike has an original paint blue enamel with white trim cruiser style frame and forks, frame mounted TANK, this is that rare version that never had a horn. Some people really like these!

Original "reverse screen" chainguard, cruiser style seat, wide cruiser handlebars, black hand grips, full fenders, 9 hole rear carrier RACK, and more! I love the shape and design of the front fender mounted HEADLIGHT! It has the lens etc.

Installed 2 batteries and it did nothing. I put no further effort into it beyond that I believe this bike to be basically all original parts from when it was new! (see pics and be your own judge). Would be really cool if you owned a mens Flying Star and could ride or display a PAIR of the same model Schwinn! This series of bike is really cool and you rarely see them! The tires are 26x1 3/4. They are vintage slightly newer replacement tires and do hold air. The bike has factory white painted and pinstriped Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear with a Schwinn Approved rear hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes.

(pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 27 1/2. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2.

The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust.

NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! I love original paint bikes! Has chips scratches etc but has survived surprisingly well for its age!

The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them.

(most every used bike out there seems to). This is a cool USA built bike in a great color!

I hope you love it! I rarely see these model bikes in ANY condition! I hope you enjoy it! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach.

Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike?

If you are looking for a fun bike to ride and enjoy this may be it! A nice bike to cruise the beach or your local park! Priced way less than a dime store bike that wont be around 5 years from now, much less 30+ years like this one!
