1960s SCHWINN LIL TIGER MINI STINGRAY BANANA SEAT MUSCLE BIKE RED 60s VINTAGE

  

Here is a rare original SCHWINN STINGRAY "LIL TIGER" 12 muscle bike in the cool Radiant Red color! I BELIEVE this was made in the mid 1960s, maybe early 1970s. I dont think they put serial numbers on these This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!

This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, nearly every single part of this bike is original. This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors.

Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! The bike is in the original and very appealing radiant red factory painted color. (Apple Krate red color) This one has the small wheels front and rear with hard rubber tires! (rear tire is ok for display or replace for riding) The bike has cool wide small handlebars, matching hand grips, small banana seat has rips....

Front is not attached to the seat post This style seat MAY be close to the one used on a Mini Twinn tandem? Cool small short rear sissy bar and so much more! I dont know where you would find another like it! Though it is not flawless, I think the paint is ok for a 45+ year old BOYS bicycle! The chrome is shiny but not perfect show quality.

The chainguard still has its original screen! The bike is an original single speed. Top bar is IN PLACE! A great bike for display or fun for a young person to ride! I BELIEVE this bike to be basically all original parts from when it was new. (see pics and be your own judge). Has been in very long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again.

They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok! The paint looks fairly good for a 45+ year old boys bike!

The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) People LOVE these bikes! People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before!
