1960s GUARANTY QUALITY SUPREME BICYCLE CWC MURRAY CADILLAC COSMIC FLYER VINTAGE

  

Here is an original 1960s VINTAGE I believe around 1964. The serial number is M48001? Men's "Guaranty Quality Supreme" middleweight bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing red colored factory paint with chrome accents.

These bikes are AWESOME and a very rare find in ANY condition these days! This is from the "Space Age" era and design of things!

This bike has a cool mens frame and forks with original paint and decals, (check out the cool design reflective decals) Has a really unique design original screen knurled chrome "Fleetwood" chainguard, CWC murray sproocket, reflector pedals, Schwinn? Cruiser style seat, wide cruiser handlebars, vintage comfortable style hand grips, full fenders, and more! This is such a classy look.... And I LOVE bikes with car names.... The tires are 26x1.75.

They are vintage tires and do hold air. (Rear is a cool knobby type) The bike has chrome raised center rims front and rear with a Bendix 70 rear hub. The bike is an original single speed with coaster style brakes. (pedal backwards slightly to stop).

DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 1/4. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably.

The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad considering its age! I LOVE the fact that this bike still wears its original paint. (has chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them.

This is arguably one of the COOLEST bikes made in the 1960s! They are very hard to find in any condition! This could be the star center attraction of your collection!

I have not had one of these to offer in a long time! I hope you enjoy this one! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach.

Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price.

These are getting to be hard to find in any condition and to my knowledge, have not been reproduced. PLEASE NOTE that many of the bikes I list have listed have been in long term storage and have not been regularly ridden in a while. (not a bad thing) They may need standard tuning, greasing, may have old tires, surface rust etc.
