1960 SCHWINN TIGER 2-SPEED VINTAGE BICYCLE TYPHOON S7 AMERICAN CORVETTE BIKE S7! Here is an original VINTAGE I believe made May 9th 1960. The serial number is E022988, its Birthday month is now! Mens Schwinn TIGER beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels.

It is in the original and very appealing bright RED colored factory paint. (its a great color on a bike like this) If you like UNIQUE original bikes, this may be a great bike for you.

With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks with original paint and decals, large Schwinn head badge, original screen chainguard. Schwinn cruiser style seat, chrome seat post clamp, wide cruiser style handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, full fenders, cool pedals, Mayweg aluminum front carrier RACK, (center snap hold down shows age) chrome Schwinn REAR carrier rack, and more!

Has newer spokes and chain. This one is done right and looks nice! The tires are 26x1 3/4. They are slightly newer replacement WIDE WHITEWALL tires and do hold air. The bike has a chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear. The bike is an original Bendix Automatic TWO-SPEED "kickback" hub with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike or to shift from low to high or high to low) If you have never ridden one of these, they are a blast! DIMENSIONS The standover height is approx 31. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28 1/4. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2.

The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably.

The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. This is one of the nicer survivor type bikes you could ask for. The paint looks decent for its age but does have chips scratches etc. The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Add up the cost of the 2 racks and the working 2-speed! If you bought these parts alone it would cost over half the price of this whole bike! Comes in one package and is a good looking ride! I hope you can appreciate this one for what it is! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike? If you are looking for a fun bike to ride and enjoy this may be it! A nice bike to cruise the beach or your local park! Priced way less than a dime store bike that wont be around 5 years from now, much less 30+ years like this one! These are getting to be hard to find in any condition and to my knowledge, have not been reproduced. PLEASE NOTE that many of the bikes I list have listed have been in long term storage and have not been regularly ridden in a while. (not a bad thing) They may need standard tuning, greasing, may have old tires, surface rust etc.
