1959 SCHWINN JAGUAR MARK IV MENS RED TANK BICYCLE CORVETTE TYPHOON VINTAGE+RACK. Here is an original 1959 VINTAGE (I believe made June 1st 1959 The serial number is F913388) men's Schwinn Jaguar Mark IV cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing RED colored factory paint.

If you like hard to find TOP OF THE LINE original vintage bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks, original frame mounted TANK, (no horn inside) Schwinn head badge, cool original screen deluxe chainguard, Schwinn cruiser style seat, (shows age) wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, Schwinn full fenders, (I believe these are stainless steel, have dents) Schwinn Pedals, front rack, rear carrier rack, (non jeweled) and more! Check out the Schwinn AS neck with BOTH correct bolts in place! (these are always missing) Nice original details only found on the deluxe bicycles of the time.

This bike is loaded, I mean LOADED with great parts! I love these bikes and hope you do too! They ride great and look awesome!

Back when these bikes were new, most people opted for the lower cost "no frills" bicycles. That makes these bikes special!

The tires are 26x1 3/4. They are vintage wide whitewall tires and do hold air. The bike has chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear with a Bendix hub.

The bike is an original THREE SPEED and the gears do operate. The hand controlled brakes are operable as well. (may need adjustment or possible cable replacement) Hub shifts but the rear hub could be gone through/lubricated. DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 29 3/4. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28.

The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22.

The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust.

This is a great bike! If no interest, I will sell it in parts.

Hope to not have to do that! NOTED FLAWS This one has been in very long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again! It is not 100% flawless but is relatively ok for its age! The paint ok for a 50+ year old bike! (love original paint but it shows obvious age, wear, chips, scratches, etc) It is a cool look that people love these days!

The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (every used bike out there seems to) Rear wheel is missing a spoke.

The forks appear to be raked forward. Overall a very cool TOP OF THE LINE bike! I hope you love it!

This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. These are getting to be hard to find in any condition and to my knowledge, have not been reproduced. PLEASE NOTE that many of the bikes I list have listed have been in long term storage and have not been regularly ridden in a while. (not a bad thing) They may need standard tuning, greasing, may have old tires, surface rust etc. I try to be as honest as possible and never want to disappoint anyone.
