1957 SCHWINN CORVETTE MENS 3-SPEED CRUISER BICYCLE VINTAGE CHEVY TYPHOON S7+RACK. Here is an original VINTAGE i BELIEVE May 1957. The serial number is C52649 mens Schwinn CORVETTE 3-speed beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. (model F17) It is in the original and very appealing OPALESCENT RED colored factory paint.

This color is cool and you do not see it often on a Corvette! If you like UNIQUE original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike!

This bike was named after the legendary Chevy Corvette! Every kid wanted a bike like this, few were lucky enough to get one!

Car theme bikes are the coolest! I have a Corvette bike in my own personal collection! What a perfect color for a Corvette bike of this era! This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks with original paint and decals, large Schwinn head badge, original screen Schwinn "hockey stick" style CORVETTE chainguard, Schwinn cruiser style seat, (has a lean) wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, full STAINLESS STEEL fenders, large brake calipers, Schwinn bow pedals, and more!

I believe this bike to be basically all original parts from when it was new! (see pics and be your own judge) This one has a vintage long JC HIGGINS bike lock on the seat! (no key but cool) The tires are 26x1 3/4. They are vintage Schwinn Westwind WIDE WHITEWALL tires and do hold air.

(probably original for the bike) The bike has chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear. The bike is an original THREE SPEED and the gears do operate. The hand controlled brakes are operable! (may need adjustment or possible cable replacement) Rear hub is also dated 56!!!

DIMENSIONS The standover height is approx 31. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28.

The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22.

The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but not bad for its age. The paint looks respectable for a 60+ year old bike!

(I love the fact that it is original but it has chips scratches etc) It has survived better than the majority of them! The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) Would be cool to display with your 1950s-1960s Chevrolet or any other vintage car or truck.

This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc.

Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike? These are getting to be hard to find in any condition and to my knowledge, have not been reproduced. PLEASE NOTE that many of the bikes I list have listed have been in long term storage and have not been regularly ridden in a while.
