1956 Schwinn Corvette 2-speed coaster Bendix vintage bicycle overhauled

  

All original 1956 Schwinn Corvette. 2-speed Bendix hub with shifter and coaster brake. All bearings cleaned and regreased: hubs, crank, headset. Stainless steel fenders look great with a few small ripples and dings, good shine.

Paint has average nicks and scratches but shows and shines well. S-7 wheels with original Westwind tires. Tires probably need replacing but they have been ridden on for years like this. Cadet speedometer has foggy glass but works.

Original early Corvette crashbar seat in excellent condition. Original early large cap bow pedals with typical rashing on the ends. Original aluminum front snap rack is very straight. Rear reflector housing is in good condition but was painted with chrome paint.

Overall an excellent example of an early Corvette that rides, shifts, and stops great. Feel free to ask with any questions.
