1954 SCHWINN GREEN PHANTOM MENS TANK BICYCLE VINTAGE SPRINGER PANTHER BLACK B6! Here is an original VINTAGE This bike was either made June 1954 OR August 1956. The serial number is L41616 and is stamped on the rear dropout men's Schwinn GREEN Phantom bicycle with 26 wheels. I have had a few of the world famous BLACK PHANTOM bikes over the years but this is only the SECOND Green Phantom bikes I have ever had the priviledge to offer you!

It is in the original and very appealing GREEN and BLACK colored factory paint. If you like TOP DOG, TOP OF THE LINE original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! To me this bike is amazing! Every kid wanted one of these back in the day, few were lucky enough to get one!

Consequently, the originals are not easy to find these days in any condition. In fact, these bikes are so Iconic, Schwinn made an awesome reproduction of this bike back in 1995 during the 100 Year Anniversary of Schwinn!

This bike has a cool mens B6/Phantom cruiser style frame with original paint and decals, awesome front SPRINGER FORK with "AS" (Arnold Schwinn) bolts, (non locking) large Schwinn built head badge, frame mounted HORN TANK, (horn is untested) deluxe chain guard , Schwinn sprocket, (I believe this one is correct for this particular model) Super cool Schwinn cruiser seat, the seat looks so cool on this one. Has a slight lean which I believe can be adjusted out "AS" Seat post clamp, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, full fenders with fender mounted "train" headlight, looks repainted, has lens, headlight is untested.

Fenders show age and have some dents. See pics 4 hole rear carrier rack, AWESOME vintage Schwinn Persons Supreme pedals, cool REAR carrier mounted TAILLIGHT, (untested) and MORE! Well, I had 2 more bikes I LOVE come into my life since so I decided to sell this one. (truly dont want to but I personally cant keep them all) This one has NOT been owned by all the collectors and cannot wait to start its next chapter in life! I LOVE original paint bikes!

If you bought all these parts individually, you would spend THOUSANDS of dollars and it would take a LOT of time to do so! Dont think they are easy to find either as they are not! Get this in one nice package! The tires are 26x2.125. They are cool slightly newer replacement wide whitewall tires and do hold air. The bike has chrome Schwinn S-2 rims front and rear with a NEW DEPARTURE rear hub! The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 31. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28 1/4. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2.

The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably.

The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS This is an amazing find! I got this one exactly like you see it! The paint looks ok for a 65+ year old bike! Has chips scratches etc but has that GORGEOUS unrestored patina that so many people LOVE LOVE LOVE!

The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) Chainguard has dents.

This is such a cool bike that they made a reproduction of the Black, Red, and Green Phantom back in 1995. The GREEN is a rare find! (original stuff is best anyway) If you would enjoy a real deal COOL original frame Phantom at a great price, you may really love this one. I think it would be a crime to EVER restore this one but the choice is yours! IN CLOSING, this is a truely AMAZING FIND! It you take good care of it, it will only go UP in value! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach.
