1953 SCHWINN METEOR MENS B6 HORNET CRUISER BICYCLE PHANTOM WASP VINTAGE BLUE S2! Here is an original VINTAGE I believe made July 1953. The serial number is K62539? Men's SCHWINN METEOR beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels.

This has the super cool B6 (Phantom, Wasp, or Hornet) cantalever style frame. If you love original vintage Chicago made Schwinn bikes, you may enjoy this one! With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike!

This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks with original paint and decals, large Schwinn head badge, deluxe (Phantom Panther style) chainguard, cruiser style seat, "AS" seat post clamp, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, full fenders, cool pedals, Skiptooth chain and sweetheart sprocket, and more! I LOVE the color combination on this! I had a Schwinn Liberty in my collection that looked just like this for a long time! The tires are 26x2.125. They are slightly newer replacement vintage tires and do hold air.

The bike has factory painted and pinstriped Schwinn S-2 rims front and rear with a New Departure rear hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 3/4. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28 1/4.

The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22.

The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! I LOVE the original paint! (has chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality.

Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) The wheels would like nicer with a detailing or acid treatment. I took lots and have nothing to hide. This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach.

Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by.
