1953 SCHWINN METEOR LADIES VINTAGE BICYCLE B6 DX S2 BLUE RAT ROD HORNET VINTAGE. Here is an original VINTAGE (I BELIEVE May 1953 The serial number is K01636) ladies Schwinn Meteor beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the very appealing blue and white 2-tone colored factory paint. If you like UNIQUE original bikes, this may be a great bike for you.

With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool original design ladies frame and forks with mostly original paint and decals, large Schwinn head badge, original paint Schwinn deluxe Phantom/Panther style chainguard, Torrington? Pedals, COOL blue and white cruiser style seat, "AS" (Arnold Schwinn) seat post clamp, wide cruiser handlebars, black Schwinn hand grips, full fenders, and more! Would look cool if you added a tank!

This bike has survived the test of time! This one has been in VERY long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again! Bikes like this almost never come along in any condition! A local friend bought this from the original owner! I hope you LOVE it!

Has age patina etc but is such a cool look! Great to ride, restore, or display. Could use for its hard to find parts but that would be a shame to do.

The tires are 26x2.125. They are slightly newer vintage tires and do hold air. The bike has factory painted Schwinn S2 front and rear wheels with a New Departure rear hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes.

(pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS: The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 19. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21 1/2. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. This is a real deal Wisconsin "barn find" and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again. The paint is mostly original but shows obvious age, chips, scratches, patina, etc. (note, the front white looks repainted) The chrome would need resto to be perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) Front wheel has a broken spoke. This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike?
