1952 SCHWINN RED PANTHER LADIES TANK BICYCLE VINTAGE PHANTOM HORNET S2+RACK 50s. Here is an original VINTAGE I believe May 1952. The serial number appears to be C31283 and is stamped on the left rear dropout ladies SCHWINN PANTHER beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing 2-tone RED colored factory paint.

I have NEVER seen a Panther in this color combination before!!! If you like unique UNRESTORED original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. To me, this bike is absolutely AMAZING and they almost never come along like this!

With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool ladies Panther cruiser style frame with original paint and decals, cool chrome SPRINGER front forks with "AS" (Arnold Schwinn) bolts, (locking fork with key) frame mounted TANK with horn inside (untested) original screen Phantom style DELUXE Panther chainguard, large Schwinn head badge, super cool Schwinn tagged cruiser style seat, (I believe Messinger) "AS" (Arnold Schwinn) seat post clamp, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, full fenders with original Delta ROCKET RAY headlight, (complete with lens, untested, probably doesnt work anyway) 1/2 pitch chain and sprockets, (Autocycle/Phantom used this vs the skiptooth) cool pedals, 9 hole rear carrier RACK, (has typical cracks on the far rear sides) and more! RIGHT NOW I have a deluxe Springer fork mens Schwinn Panther for sale on another listing that matches this one!!! Would be amazing for you to have a matched pair in the matching colors! A rare opportunity and a GREAT investment! I hope you can appreciate how cool and rare of an opportunity this really is! This bike has been in very long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed again! The tires are 26x2.125. They are vintage WIDE WHITEWALL tires and do hold air. They are slightly newer replacement tires. The bike has factory chrome Schwinn S-2 rims front and rear with a New Departure rear hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21 1/2. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is relatively nice considering its age compared to most! The paint looks fairly good for a 65+ year old bike! It is a very unusual 2-tone RED color. (has chips, scratches, etc) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to).

Overall, this is one of the coolest bikes you could ask for! A rare bike in a rare color... I truly hope you can appreciate this one for what it is. This is a much harder bike to find than a Black Phantom or a Krate bike.

I took lots of pics, I have nothing to hide. This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike!
