1951 SCHWINN PANTHER LADIES VINTAGE BLUE CRUISER BICYCLE SPRINGER PHANTOM S2 50S. Here is an original VINTAGE I believe August 1952. The serial number is D29756 ladies SCHWINN PANTHER beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing 2-tone BLUE colored factory paint.

If you like cool ORIGINAL unrestored original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! I see the mens versions of the Schwinn Panther fairly regularly but its been a VERY long time since I have seen a LADIES Schwinn Panther! A lot of these got "parted out" years ago for the valuable hard to find parts.

I think it is really cool that this one is still together! Its a very unique bike and you do NOT see them often! How cool would it be to have a matching ladies bike for your sweetie to ride with you?

This bike has a cool original design ladies frame with original paint and decals, large Schwinn head badge, frame mounted tank with HORN inside, (untested) original Phantom/Panther "deluxe" chainguard, "AS" (Arnold Schwinn) chrome front SPRINGER FORK, (non locking) cruiser style seat, (looks cool and has the factory metal "wear tabs" on the sides) "AS" seat post clamp, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, full fenders, (painted silver) 9 hole rear carrier RACK, and more! This one was born with a fender mounted Rocket Ray headlight, not hard to find!

A friend of mine had this for his wife! Said he greased things and it is a great rider! Intentionally kept the cool patina! Would be very cool for you to have both a mens and ladies vintage Schwinn to ride this Summer and Fall! The tires are 26x2.125.

They are vintage Carlisle tires and do hold air. The bike has chrome Schwinn S-2 rims front and rear with a New Departure rear hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS: The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28 1/2. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2.

The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it.

I LOVE the fact that this one still wears its original paint! Has chips scratches shows age, etc The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) Front rim has a small side dent.

(wont effect performance but I like to be honest) Add up the value of the parts, there is a ton of value here! If there is no interest as a complete bike, I will sell in parts but REALLY hope I dont have to do that This is a special bike and a rare find! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach.

Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike!

A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike? If you are looking for a fun bike to ride and enjoy this may be it! A nice bike to cruise the beach or your local park! Priced way less than a dime store bike that wont be around 5 years from now, much less 30+ years like this one!

These are getting to be hard to find in any condition and to my knowledge, have not been reproduced. PLEASE NOTE that many of the bikes I list have listed have been in long term storage and have not been regularly ridden in a while. (not a bad thing) They may need standard tuning, greasing, may have old tires, surface rust etc.
