1950s SCHWINN WASP BALLOON TIRE BICYCLE VINTAGE CRUISER S2 B6 HORNET PHANTOM 50S. This is one of the very last years that Schwinn produced the iconic balloon tire bicycles! It is in the original and very appealing OPALESCENT GREEN AND WHITE 2-tone colored factory paint. If you like COOL unrestored original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike!

These are very well built and designed to survive the test of time! They are smooth riders as well!

They try to make thing that look like this today, but nothing looks like an original! This one has a cool ORIGINAL paint B6 frame and forks, large Schwinn head badge, original screen deluxe (Phantom/Panther style) chainguard, some cool wide cruiser style handlebars, Schwinn script grips, full fenders, (have dents) cool pedals, Schwinn cruiser style seat, front fender mounted DELTA ROCKET RAY headlight, untested, these are ALWAYS MISSING! Check out the cool rear fender mounted reflector!

This bike is AWESOME and these never come along! The few womens verions out there were often "parted out" for mens bikes. This one has survived and would be cool for you to have a pair! I believe this bike to be basically all original parts from when it was new. (see pics and be your own judge).

She has been the ONLY owner of this bike since it was new! It has spent the past couple decades in a basement of a home and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again!

Bikes like this NEVER come up and I hope you can appreciate it for what it is! The tires are 26x2.125. They are vintage tires and do hold air. They are SUPER COOL Carlisle "Lightning Dart" tires and do hold air! (As far as I can tell is the only non original parts on the bike) These are my personal favorite tires! This one has chrome Schwinn S2 rims front and rear with a New Departure rear hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes.

(pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2.

The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21 1/2. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age. The paint looks relatively nice for a 60+ year old bike! (has chips scratches etc but has survived better than many) Chrome is shiny but not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) This bike has been in long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again. This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by.

People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike? If you are looking for a fun bike to ride and enjoy this may be it! A nice bike to cruise the beach or your local park! Priced way less than a dime store bike that wont be around 5 years from now, much less 30+ years like this one!
