1950s SCHWINN STREAMLINER TANK BICYCLE VINTAGE HORNET B6 DX S7 PHANTOM ROCKET. Here is an original VINTAGE I believe August 1957? The serial number is D11955 men's SCHWINN "STREAMLINER" cantalever frame beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing RED and white 2-tone colored factory paint. This is an AWESOME color combination on this bike and you rarely see it on these! To me, this bike is absolutely AMAZING and they almost never come along like this! With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike does NOT appear in the 1957 catalog and was supposedly never made. : I have owned a lot of Schwinn bikes over the years and have never seen another like this! This bike has a cool mens cantalever (B6/Phantom style) cruiser style frame with original paint and decals, large Schwinn headbadge, truss rod forks, frame mounted TANK with horn inside, (untested) original screen deluxe (Phantom/Panther) style deluxe Streamliner chainguard, Schwinn tagged cruiser seat, "AS" (Arnold Schwinn) seat post clamp, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, full fenders, fender mounted Delta ROCKET RAY headlight, (untested) deluxe sprocket, cool pedals, 9 hole rear carrier RACK, and more! This is a nice looking bike that you can be proud to own, display, or ride! I hope you enjoy and appreciate this one! Stuff like this does not come along often! I'm not sure why I decided to sell this one!

I hope it gets a great new home! The tires are 26x1 3/4 middleweight tires. They are vintage tires and do hold air. The rear is a Schwinn. The front is a slightly newer replacement.

Some whitewall tires would really make this one POP! The bike has chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear. This is a VERY unique bike!

I have not seen a Streamliner of this era ever! The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes.

(pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 1/2. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28.

The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22.

The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is relatively nice considering its age. I got this one exactly like you see it and love it! The paint looks fairly nice for a 60+ year old bike! Has some chips etc but has survived better than most. I LOVE original paint on bikes!

The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (Most every used bike out there seems to) Overall, this is one of the coolest bikes you could ask for!

A rare bike in a rare color... I truly hope you can appreciate this one for what it is. This is a much harder bike to find than a Black Phantom or a Krate bike. I took lots of pics, I have nothing to hide.

This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by.

A nice bike to cruise the beach or your local park! Priced way less than a dime store bike that wont be around 5 years from now, much less 30+ years like this one! It is never too soon to think ahead and get someone something they may really like!! These are getting to be hard to find in any condition and to my knowledge, have not been reproduced. PLEASE NOTE that many of the bikes I list have listed have been in long term storage and have not been regularly ridden in a while. (not a bad thing) They may need standard tuning, greasing, may have old tires, surface rust etc.
