Men's SCHWINN HORNET beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing BLACK and WHITE 2-tone colored factory paint.

You almost NEVER see bikes like this! If you like rare UNIQUE original bikes, this may be a great bike for you.

It was always stored inside in a clean dry area. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool mens cruiser B6 cantalever frame, and TRUSS ROD forks with original paint and decals, frame mounted TANK with horn, (untested, has typical "fork knock" from the truss rods) large Schwinn headbadge, original screen Hornet chainguard, Messinger cruiser style seat, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, cool streamers, full fenders, 9 hole rear carrier RACK, and more! I got this one just like you see it! This is a such a cool bike!

They are hard to find in any condition these days! The tires are 26x1 3/4.

They are vintage slightly newer replacement WHITEWALL tires and do hold air. The bike has chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear with a Bendix hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes.

(pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 31. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28 1/2.

The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22.

The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust.

NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad considering its age. I love the fact that this one has its ORIGINAL PAINT! (has chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. It has newer pedals and rear reflector. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. One of the COOLEST 1950s TANK bikes you will ever find! These rarely come along in any condition! I hope you love it! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike?
