1950s SCHWINN EXCELSIOR MENS B6 TANK BICYCLE STREAMLINER VINTAGE ANTIQUE S2 RACK. Here is an original 1950s VINTAGE serial number is L87250? And is on the left rear dropout men's Schwinn EXCELSIOR B6 Streamliner bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing RED AND WHITE 2-tone colored factory paint. If you like unique original unrestored bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame with original paint and decals, truss rod forks, cool EXCELSIOR head badge, frame mounted TANK, (no horn) original screen chainguard, cool SCHWINN cruiser style seat, (has edge wear) "AS" (Arnold Schwinn) seat post clamp, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, full fenders, skiptooth chain, sweetheart sprocket, newer pedals, 9 hole rear carrier RACK, and more! I believe this one was born with a fender mounted headlight. (easy to find) I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these style bikes and had a hard time really deciding to sell this one! The Schwinn Excelsior and Henderson bike are some of my personal favorites.

These are tough to find and are great looking and riding bikes! The tires are 26x2.125. They are vintage slightly newer replacement tires and do hold air.

The bike has chrome Schwinn S-2 rims front and rear with a New Departure rear hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 3/4.

The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22.

The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it! I LOVE original paint bikes!

The paint looks ok for a 60+ year old bike! (has obvious chips scratches etc but is so cool being original) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them.

(most every used bike out there seems to). Chrome on the wheels is not the best. It has a great patina and people love it! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by.

People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike? If you are looking for a fun bike to ride and enjoy this may be it!
