1946-1947 Vintage Schwinn DX Skip Tooth Ballooner Bicycle Patina Cruiser Rat Rod

  

26 balloon tire with beautiful patina. Rides smooth with new Schwalbe Fat Frank tires. Bottom bracket and front hub have been cleaned and lubed. There are a few mirror things yet to repair if you so choose. Both rims are out of true and missing one spoke.

They are still rideable but you have to be careful that the fenders don't rub the tires. It probably wouldn't be a problem with smaller tires but the Fat Frakes just look awesome.

The front fender brace is missing one bolt so it is a little loose. The stem nut is stuck at the moment but I will try to get that loose, no guarantees. Other than that is has the normal wear and tear you would expect out of a classic used bicycle. Nicks, scratches, dents, rust, pitting, chrome loss, squeaks and rattles. It looks like the bike was painted at one point but it gives a nice patina to the bike where the old red paint is shines through. Please see pictures and zoom in for further detail on condition.
