1940s SCHWINN LIBERTY DX MENS VINTAGE CRUISER BICYCLE SKIPTOOTH B6 1950s ANTIQUE. Here is an original VINTAGE (I BELIEVE mid-late 1940s, The serial number is B71652 and is stamped on the bottom of the cranks housing) men's Schwinn Liberty DX beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. If you like unique original CHICAGO USA made bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks, cool Liberty Brass head badge, original whizzer "feather" style chainguard, cruiser style seat, wide cruiser handlebars, full fenders, skiptooth chain with "sweatheart" spocket, and more! This one has an accessory front carrier rack and super cool front and rear accessory mud flaps! A cool bike to ride, restore, or display as it is! The tires are 26x2.125. They are vintage tires and do hold air. The front is a Kelly Springfield.

The rear is a US ROYAL Chain tire. (cool chain pattern) The bike has raised center rims front and rear with a Bendix rear hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes.

(pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 3/4. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28 1/2. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2.

The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably.

The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it! It has a great look! The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them.

(most every used bike out there seems to). Rear wheel is missing a spoke. This era of Schwinn Phantom, Panther, deluxe Autocycle bikes, is arguably the greatest of all time! They look good and are a blast to ride! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by.
