1940s SCHWINN LADIES WORLD BREEZE RACER BICYCLE VINTAGE SUPERIOR TRAVELER 40. Here is an original 1940s VINTAGE POST WARTIME!!! The serial number is N68169 and is stamped on the bottom of the crank housing mens Schwinn WORLD 1-speed road cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing dark BLUE with red and white accents colored factory paint. I like this a lot! If you like UNIQUE original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks with original paint and decals, (check out the 2 bars WORLD graphic) cruiser style seat, Schwinn wings head badge, wide cruiser handlebars, newer hand grips, full fenders, cool pedals, and more! Great to restore or hard to find lightweight bike parts such as a World, New World, Traveler, Paramount, Superior etc. The tires are 26x1.375.

They are old vintage tires and do hold air. The front is a Uniroyal. The rear is a good year.

The bike is an original 1-speed with coaster brakes and a New Departure rear hub. (pedal backwards slightly to stop). DIMENSIONS The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 30. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 20.

The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21 1/4. The bike will accomadate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. Ride it, restore it or use it for its HARD TO FIND parts! The paint is original and looks fair for a 50+ year old bike!

(has chips scratches wear surface rust etc) Chrome is shiny but not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. This one has been in long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach.

Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by.

(not a bad thing) They may need standard tuning, greasing, may have old tires, surface rust etc.
