1940s-1950s SCHWINN DELUXE HORNET BICYCLE HORN TANK PANTHER S2 VINTAGE MAROON 50. Here is an original HORN TANK which was removed from a 1950 Schwinn Deluxe Hornet mens balloon tire bike beach cruiser bicycle! The bike itself was made approx Sept 8th 1950.

The serial number is Z299610 and is stamped on the bottom of the cranks housing. This one includes the tank, horn inside, as well as the mounting hardware shown! I installed 2 batteries and it WORKS!

Put it on your bike and make it will look cool! Otherwise would be a great display item. If you EVER think you could use this, do not miss out! Every time I find a bike like this, the TANK always seems to be missing.

This can make a good bike into a GREAT bike! ESPECIALLY if you have an original bike with maroon and cream paint! I got this as a complete bicycle. I rarely part out bikes but decided to as this one is not all 100% original parts. A great item at a great price! I took LOTS of pics inside and out. They get very large to show detail. It is not new or nos but is not bad for its age either! A good detail job could make this one look much nicer! Please note, This one has obviously been repainted. What you see is what you get in exact condition shown. They are all available right now! I try my very best to describe as accurately as possible.
