1940 SCHWINN DX BICYCLE FRAME VINTAGE HOT RAT ROD PREWAR LINCOLN EXCELSIOR 40s. Here is an original VINTAGE mens Schwinn DX balloon tire bike beach cruiser bicycle frame.

I BELIEVE this was made approx 1940. The serial number is F23884 and is stamped on the bottom of the cranks housing. This is an original paint prewar cruiser bicycle!

Would need a total restoration for show or have fun with it in its current patina. Add your parts and have a fun OLD antique bike! Would be really cool to use a more common girls bike to build this one up! What you see is what you get! Includes the seat post, (NOT frozen in place) and everything you see.

Restore it or make a "rat rod" bike to match your "rat rod" car or truck! I have a Lincoln brass head badge for sale on another listing that came along with this bike. DIMENSIONS I believe this to be a 26 frame. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/4.

The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22. What you see is what you get in exact condition shown.

It has one rear adjuster screw by the rear dropout. Looks like the lower rear fender mount it missing.
