1940 Prewar Schwinn D97XE Balloon Bicycle, Maroon, original. The frame was manufactured in 1940; serial. # E52531 and the fenders are 1940/1941. Cyclelock springer fork without key #AN349, Torrington #8 pedals, Messinger B saddle, Eclipse J-3 rear hub with Morrow brake arm and Schwinn front hub. Goodyear- all weather tires with brand new heavy duty tubes.

Tank Horn, 3rib Torpedo and Seiss Lights working. Iver Johnson 30 wide longhorn handlebars, Stewart Warner Cadet Speedometer, Klaxon horn, tool bag and Miller kickstand. Front pork chop drum brake with original cable and pads. The bike was completely taken apart, cleaned and re-greased. Bike comes with additional items; original handlebars and seat post. Another 1940 license besides the 1941 on the bike. It reminds me of an airplane, with the two propellers, wide bars, Plane/Train/Automobile Head Badge.
