One of the coolest prewar Schwinn bikes ever made! Here is an original VINTAGE I believe this is a FIRST YEAR Cycle Truck made in 1939. The serial number is B12736 men's bicycle with 26 wheels. This is one of the COOLEST and most useful bikes ever made! With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike!

This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks, RARE original "Cycle Truck" head badge, cool chainguard, cruiser style seat, wide cruiser handlebars, full fenders, BIG Wald front basket, cool Skiptooth chain and sprockets, and more! Here is some fun info from the original Schwinn catalog! So you're going into business for yourself! That's fine- and the best of luck to you!

You can put up to 150 pounds in the basket, and the front wheel will still turn just easily as if it were empty! The basket in mounted on the frame, not on the handle-bar, and doesn't interfere with steering when loaded. It's in front-easy to get at when you're parking and it locks the front fork so that the front wheel cannot turn and cause the cycle to fall over. The Cycle Truck is heavy-duty buil throughout to keep you from having upkeep expence.

It's low-geared, too, for easy pedaling. This bike would be a blast to ride and do deliveries the old fashioned way. Put your business name on the sides! Cool for a bar, coffee house, auto shop, restoration shop, etc etc etc.

I took many pics, I have nothing to hide. Be sure to check them out. I always wanted a prewar Cycle Truck. I keep adding bikes to my personal collection so I decided to let this one go before I personalized it too much! I hope you enjoy it!

The rear tire is 26x2.125. The front tire is 20x2.125. They are COOL vintage tires and do hold air. The front is a Silver Star. The rear is a Carlisle stud tire. The bike has chrome HEAVY SPOKE rims front and rear with a Bendix hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 1/2. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 29. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age.

The bike looks repainted to me. The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them.

(most every used bike out there seems to). There is a rear mount for a rack brazed to the frame long ago. I have never owned one of these but the bike has non original parts. (see pics and be your own expert) I believe wheels, handlebars, basket, pedals, etc etc etc.

IF you are nut and bolt purist, this is not the bike for you. IF you would enjoy a super cool original prewar Schwinn, that almost noone else has, you may enjoy this one! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by.
