Up for sale is a wonderful old vintage 1979 Schwinn Stingray Kids Bike. This was just picked up from the Orig. Owner here in Portland, Oregon.

Don't know a lot about these bikes and could not find much information about whether this is a standard Stingray or a Stingray 2. All I could find was that the Stingray 2 had smaller (lower) handlebars. This bike appears to have the regular tall handlebars.

Never had anything replaced or repainted that I know of. May of had new rubber at some time but not sure. Color is the super rare Golden yellow/ red. Bike is in used condition with lots of scuffs, paint loss, color loss on some of lettering etc.

Seat has some scuffs and vinyl loss. Tubes might need to be replaced.

Rubber appears to be in decent shape. This is an original Chicago Built Bike. 32 inches long x 14 1/2 inches tall.

(measured from bottom of crank shaft hole to top of seat post hole). Front tire measure 16 3/4 in. Across (not including rubber tire). Back tire- 16 1/2 in.
