Nice All Original Women's Chicago Schwinn Collegiate 5 Speed Cruiser. Built Chicago 1966-ERROR CODE BIKE-MISSING ONE LETTER WHICH ONLY HAPPENED TO A HANDFUL OF BIKES DURING MANUFACTURING BETWEEN 1/24/66-2/1/66. WHERE THE DYE WAS NOT WORKING OR WAS BROKEN BUT THEY FIXED IT QUICKLY AND ONLY A HANDFUL MADE IT OUT TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL THEY NOTICED THE PROBLEM.

Original Schwinn Tubular S-5 Chrome Rims. Very rare error code Schwinn Collegiate that's in nice condition for the age. All original with the down tube stick shifting, Schwinn Sprint derailleur and alloy Weinmann Brake System.

Rides nice, brakes good and feels tight riding down the road, coasts good too. Some very minor surface oxidation on some areas of the chrome but will buff clean for the most part as its surface, but looks good as is. Has nice deep color paint that shines, though it has your expected scuff/chip here/there but minor compared to most, looks sharp and has great decals.

Solid straight Chainguard with minor decal fade. Nice clean straight chrome fenders with a couple small dings/scuffs on the rear yet they look nice. Nice original Schwinn grips and S saddle with expected signs of use.

I do have an original rear fender reflector I'll include. Original tires are good yet with some center wear, very little weather checking on sidewalls but still many miles left.

Does have your very faint wobble like most, rides good and smooth though and if desired, a little spoke adjusting would cure it. Front is missing a spoke. Minor surface oxidation that will buff out nice for the most part as I tested a spot and it cleaned nicely. Nice clover crankset with nice original pedals. Overall a great collector bike with the serial number issue yet a great cruiser too and in original condition. These rarely come about so don't miss out! Pictures tell all, if not, please ask.
