Vintage Roadmaster bicycle Schwinn Stingray, Krate, Ghost, Fastback muscle bike

  

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AS IT IS DETAILED Reduced........... These bikes were a retro throw back to the vintage muscle bikes of the late 60's and 70's. They came with an all chrome body and fenders.

Included on the bike were Ape hanger handle bars, springer front fork, banana seat, axle mounted sissy bar, cruiser brake and 48 spoke rims. See picture 12 as this is what it looked like after a good cleaning and in its original untouched shape. As I thought about my childhood days riding my Schwinn Grey Ghost, things began to snowball. As you can see I added a few parts and made a really nice bike. I gave it a new name, "Warrior Ghost" and kept with a slight dark theme by adding a few skull accents to give it some character.

The red and black accents and all chrome body really stand out. Most of the original decals were removed but I did keep the main ones. I shortened both the front and rear fenders about six inches to look more like the originals.

I also detailed the small lettering on the tires. Other modifications and some fabrication were needed for the project and all were done professionally. One addition is the leather saddle bag which I partially lined with oak, see picture. As you can see I paid attention to details and took pride in my work bringing this bike to a different level. Absolutely yes as I enjoyed building a cool bike.

Parts are either new, NOS reproduction or vintage. Parts replaced or added are as follows.

NOS reproduction early 90's shock sissy bar 28.5 in. New Front 1080 style brake caliper.

New Rear 1080 style brake caliper. New Front and rear brake cables. Vintage Pair gold dot Weinmann brake levers. New Schwinn Krate style rubber foot peddles.

New Schwinn style black rubber handle bar grips. NOS vintage Schwinn black rubber brake lever grips. Red cat eye rear reflector. NOS vintage Schwinn wire rear reflector hanger. Vintage white cat eye front reflector with custom made hanger to fit bike.

New adjustable metal kick stand. Black vinyl 4 digit combination lock. New pair black leather like handle bar streamers. New leather saddle bag, oak lined. New pair black and chrome 3 in.

New metal skull accents, (beads, valve stem caps, saddle bag emblem and brake cable ends). All original parts that came off the bike are included in the sale and go with the bike.
