Vintage 1969 Schwinn Stingray Orange Krate Muscle Bike, Old Banana Seat Bicycle

  
HI, this is a vintage 1969 Schwinn Orange Krate 5 speed muscle bike, serial number KE49709, the handlebars and stem are both dated 1969, the crank is dated 1968, this being a 69 model its possible they were using up inventory and used the previous year 1968 crank arm?? I believe the rest of the bike is original parts but I don't know how to check those parts for dates, heres what I know about the bike, the seat has some tiny cuts and the S part of the seat is worn off, the front brake cable is broke off at the handle, the rear brake works fine, the bike shifts fine, Im not sure if the tires are originals?? The rear reads Schwinn Sting-Ray slik 20 x 2.125 wide tread, it looks like it is a 1970??
