This is a prime example of a "Christmas Bike" that were only produced in December and occasionally November of the year prior to a bikes release so parents could get their children the coolest and newest bike. This bike is in great condition, better or the same as many of the bikes in our museum. This bike has been restored very nicely.
With the restore it received a new paint job that looks great. The chainguard is in great shape but has a decal as opposed to the original silk screen.
The front and rear tires do appear to be original. The rear fender with the safety edge is original but the front fender doesn't seem to be original to the bike. It doesn't look like a reissue, but has the razor edge as opposed to the safety edge in the rear.
The stem and handlebars are both original to the bike. The cranks correct for the bike but do not match the year. The pedals and stick shift are correct for the bike. The seat is a reissue seat but is in beautiful condition. The springs work well for the seat.
Spring front fork is in good shape with nice "S" bolts. The brake cable housing is original to the bike along with the brakes and levers. The front Atom Drum brake works very well and is in great shape.Streamers and brake housing coils have been added for extra flair that really turns heads. This bike has been tuned up and is mechanically sound. Be sure to take a look at all of the photos to see the true condition and how beautiful this bike is. IT IS REQUIRED THAT A PROFESSIONAL BICYCLE MECHANIC COMPLETE THE ASSEMBLY OF THE BICYCLE.
