Vintage 1966 Schwinn Twinn Deluxe Tandom Bicycle UNRESTORED Very Nice Condition

  
Today we have a pretty nice example of an early Schwinn Twinn 5 speed. It has new tires and tubes, new monogram reflector, new graphics on the chain guard and has been made road ready. The bike has been spending the last 50 years in a heated basement and was part of a local estate. The bike is complete and original sans the parts mentioned above. The cables, seats, levers, pedals, grips and nuts and bolts are all 51 years old and have very little to no wear. I don't believe this bike was ridden much at all. There is a small wrinkle in the rear fender and also one in the front fender that really can't be seen. I tried to catch them in the pics. There are some scuffs and chips here and there as you would expect from an unrestored bike of this era. Overall I would say a 9 out of 10.

The bike has a vintage headlight, taillight and generator in fine shape. The generator and taillight works well and I haven't got the headlight going. It looks good inside and the bulbs tested good. Has a high and low bulb. May need to clean terminals and I will try to get to it.

I did a little touch up on the corners of the rear frame stays with some Sky Blue paint from Koolest Kolors and it is a little darker but hard to notice. The touch up and the tiny blems in each fender is all there is to report. Comes with the awesome grips, pedals and seats. Due to it's length, it's going to have to be double boxed and is also quite heavy.
