414 W Washington Ave Elmira, NY 14901. Vintage 1957 Schwinn Hornet Deluxe Bicycle Bike. Up for sale we have a vintage 1957 Schwinn Hornet Deluxe Bicycle. This bike has been restored from its original condition and is a real looker! It is not perfect but will definitely turn heads. The restoration includes some touch-ups on the original paint and clear coat added. A new headlight has been installed which works perfectly. Home-made mud flaps with reflectors, and handle bar tassels have been added. White wall tires are brand new and have never been used. The tank horn was replaced and does work. The front fender brace was also replaced. A set of original 1950's era saddle bags have also been added to complete the look. The bike is in very good condition although there is some wear in the form of dents in the tank, fenders, and some bends in the rear luggage rack that have been straightened out. The rear wheel is missing one spoke as well. Also, the brake should be replaced as it does not work well. The stickers are original, even the sticker from the original bicycle shop in Elmira, NY!
