Nice 26 Vintage Prewar CWC Roadmaster Bicycle Chrome Step Side Ballooner Wheel set w/ New Departure Hubs & White wall Tires. This is a Real Nice Original Vintage Step Side Ballooner wheel Set off an Early Prewar Roadmaster Bicycle (1935- 1937). It's hard to find these early wheelsets is such good shape. The Rims are Step side ballooner rims, pretty nice chrome, there are some dark spots, scratches, minimal dents, and peppering, but the nicest originals I have ever seen. Good Patina for a High end Original bike.

The Hubs are New Departure Model D Coaster Brake hub with Skiptooth sprocket and W Front hub. The Wheels are laced with original Double Butted Torrington Spokes. Wheels are Rebuilt & Trued with Patina and performance, rebuilt and are ready to go. Wheels come with Vintage General Silent Safety 26" x 2.125" white wall tires.

Tires are in pretty good shape. But vintage and it is my opinion vintage tires are for show and not road worthy. It's hard to find these early wheelsets is such good shape, I have also seen these used on Prewar Schwinn, Elgin, & Columbia Bikes and some other bikes usually around 1936, These are very early ballooner wheels. I have included plenty of pictures for your inspection. These Wheels fit both Mens and Ladies Full size adult 26" Ballooner Bikes and other 26" Fattire bikes.
