1977 SCHWINN TRAVELER, VINTAGE ROAD BICYCLE. Frame: Single butted top and bottom tubes. Brazed lug constructed 1020 carbon steel. Wheels: Araya steel tubular rims. Tires: 27" x 1 1/4" Schwinn-Approved Puff gumwall. Handlebar and Stem: Steel Randonneur style handlebar and forged aluminum alloy stem. Crank Set: 39-52 Double-plateu sprocket 6 3/4 one-piece crank with lightweight chain-guard. Speed: Ten-speed gears with easy to operate handlebar mounted controls.

Brakes: Schwinn-Approved alloy side pull caliper with dual position levers. Saddle: New black vinyl model.

Very well-preserved collectible vintage bike. Even the vent spews (little rubber hairs on the outer surface of the tire tube) are still intact. It is quite stable and easy to ride, relatively high seating gives the feeling of riding a horse.
