1966 Vintage Schwinn Violet Deluxe 3 Speed Stingray Bicycle. This 1966 Violet Deluxe Stingray 3 speed Bike is a Rare Highly sought after Early Schwinn Sting Ray. The Early Ones (not only Being older) were Crafted with more Chrome and Unique Colors, thus Making the first Few Years on Stingrays Extremely Desire able to Collectors. This 1966 Deluxe is an uncommon Early Stingray that Features 3 Speeds and Hand Brakes with a Bigger Long Frame with Brake Mounts. I Find The Early Schwinn Stingrays to be the best riding of the Stingray Family. This 1966 Violet Deluxe Stingray is a Lux Low Full Restoration with New Paint and Chrome.

It has Professional Extensive Lux Low paint work with Decals enclosed in a top clear coat. This Deluxe has Beautifully Re chromed Original Crank, Front Razor Fender, Razor Rear Fender and Brace, Sprocket, Stem and Seat post Clamp. The Bike has Nice Original Schwinn White Chub Grips. The Chain, Handle bars, seatpost, and Pedals are New Reproductions and this Bike is assembled with Correct Hardware in Stainless.

The Brakes are Original Weinmann Brakes and Levers with Cables. This Bike has a Nice Sturmey Archer Thumb Shifter, Cabling, and Linkage. The Front wheel is Original Rebuilt a Schwinn Script Front hub Laced with stainless steel spokes to a Nice Original S-7 Rim with a NOS 20"x1 3/4" Goodyear Eagle 134 whitewall tire. The rear Wheel is a Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub Laced with stainless steel spokes to a Nice Original S-2 Rim with an New reproduction White wall Slick Tire.

The Seat is a Original Schwinn / Persons Remade Deep White Tuft Seat with Reflector tab and Reflector. She is a Beauty, Great for Display, but Better for Riding.
