1956 SCHWINN SPITFIRE LADIES VINTAGE GREEN BICYCLE PANTHER TYPHOON HORNET S7 B6. Here is an original VINTAGE I believe MARCH 9th 1956. The serial number is V39279 ladies SCHWINN SPITFIRE beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. I LOVE the hard to find original green 2-tone color!

If you like COOL unrestored original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool ladies ORIGINAL PAINT cruiser style frame and forks, large Schwinn head badge, Schwinn "feather" style chainguard, vintage cruiser style seat, (has wear) "AS" (Arnold Schwinn) seat post clamp, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn hand grips, full fenders, (have dents) slightly newer pedals, and more!

This one has that cool unrestored look that people LOVE these days! The tires are 26x1 3/4. They are vintage tires and do hold air.

The front is a Schwinn. The rear is a slightly newer replacement. The bike has painted and pinstriped Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear with a Bendix rear hub!

The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably.

The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. I LOVE the fact that this one still wears its original paint! Such a classic look and style!!! Paint has chips scratches etc.

The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them.

(most every used bike out there seem to) A cool CHiCAGO USA made Schwinn! This one will turn some heads on the street, in the park, or at the campground! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike?
