1956 SCHWINN CORVETTE MENS 3-SPEED CRUISER BICYCLE VINTAGE TYPHOON S7+RACK BLUE! Here is an original VINTAGE I BELIEVE Sept 28th 1956. The serial number is N46426 mens Schwinn CORVETTE 3-speed beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. (model F17) It is in the original and very appealing opalescent blue colored factory paint. This color is cool and is very fitting on a Corvette! If you like UNIQUE original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike was named after the legendary Chevy Corvette! Every kid wanted a bike like this, few were lucky enough to get one! Car theme bikes are the coolest! I have a Corvette bike in my own personal collection! If the vintage Schwinn website is correct on its info, this is one of the earlier Schwinn Corvette bikes. (see pics and be your own expert). This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks with original paint and decals, large Schwinn head badge, original screen Schwinn "hockey stick" style CORVETTE chainguard, Schwinn crash rail cruiser style seat, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, full STAINLESS STEEL fenders, (have dents) large brake calipers, Schwinn bow pedals, (somewhat misshapen) front carrier/rack, and more! I believe this bike to be mostly original parts from when it was new! (see pics and be your own judge) The tires are 26x1 3/4. They are slightly newer replacement tires and do hold air.

The bike has chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear. The bike is an original THREE SPEED and the gears do NOT operate. The hand controlled brakes are operable! (may need adjustment or possible cable replacement) (rear hub goes into a freewheel mode and needs to be adjusted or overhauled) This one has been in very long term storage! DIMENSIONS The standover height is approx 30 1/2.

The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 27 1/2. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22.

The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust.

NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but relatively ok for its age. (see pics and be your own judge) This one has been in very long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again! I love original paint bikes! The paint looks ok for a 60+ year old bike! (has chips scratches age etc) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality.

Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) The surface/finish of the rim shows age.

(restore/replace or enjoy them in their unrestored patina) Would be cool to display with your 1950s-1960s Chevrolet or any other vintage car or truck. This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by.

People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike?
