Welcome To Jack's auctions and store. Up For sale Jack has this 1953 Schwinn 26 Meteor Bicycle Green & White Original Paint Parts Vintage. The paint job looks like the hornet in the catalog, but it has a full cantilever frame.

As far as I can tell this bicyle is original. There is NO tank, but the paint and parts are what I believe to be original or mostly original.

The paint is rough in places and there is light rust and scratches. The fenders are somewhat bent in places.

There may be other signs of wear and age. IE cracks in the handgrips and seat, etc.

The wheels are marked New Departure. The gooseneck is of the narrow variety. What you see is what you get. The badge is off, but you will get it. There are no screws for mounting it.

Chain is off, but is included and I believe original, but may not be. I have been having trouble finding bike boxes lately due to the rain. I will be parting this bike out if it does not sell in the near future.

Pictures are a large part of the description and while Jack will usually describe as many elements as possible, occasionally details are missed.
